About

I am a medical oncologist specialized in the treatment of urological malignancies. I received my medical degree at the University of Milan, Italy, and subsequently I completed my post-doc specialization in medical oncology at the same University. My activity is fully dedicated to genitourinary malignancies. Since my clinical training as a medical student I worked at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan, Italy.

In November 2020 I was appointed as associate professor of oncology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and Chief of Genitourinary Medical Oncology at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital and Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy. My research team is focused on the entire spectrum of urological malignancies.

I currently serve as a board member of the EAU Research Foundation, and I an associate member of the ASCO-EAU penile cancer guidelines panel.

I am principal investigator of several phase 1-2 trials of immuno-oncology combinations in urological malignancies.
